Pork Chops with Sauteed Apples

This was a relatively simple dinner that was easy to throw together on a busy weeknight. Recently one of our grocery stores had a 5/$20 sale and we picked up a package of pork chops. Pork chops are one of those foods that I wouldn't pick to eat frequently, but the occasional pork chop really hits the spot! Eating them topped with sauteed apples is my favorite.

Please excuse the terrible picture, there is a pork chop underneath that pile of apples!

There isn't much of a recipe for this. Ryan marinated the pork chops in Country Bob's sauce (this stuff is awesome!) for about 30 minutes and then grilled them. I thinly sliced an apple and added it to a skillet along with a pat of butter, about 2 tablespoons of brown sugar, and some cinnamon. I heated the apples over low-medium heat for about 10-15 minutes until soft. When the pork was finished, we topped with the apples. Great combination!

We ate this with lemony-garlic green beans (frozen green beans sauteed with lemon juice, minced garlic, seasoned salt, & pepper). A delicious, satisfying meal!
