When you’re hosting a party, it’s all about balancing the
food options…particularly when it comes to appetizers. You have to balance the
number of hot and cold options, the number of dips, the number that can be made
ahead of time…you get the picture. Are my mom and I the only ones like this?
When planning my little sister’s graduation party, this was something we talked
through, like the party planning / food lover crazies we are!
This dip made the cut, not just because it balanced the
spread (cold, a dip, could be made ahead of time), but also because it’s always
a popular favorite. Set it out with crackers and watch it disappear, as most cream
cheese-based dips are apt to do!
