Can we talk pizza today? I know I typically only have one weekend post (Odds & Ends!), but when I heard my advertising network (Foodie by Glam) was featuring pies for the month of March (in honor of Pi Day on 3/14 of course), I couldn't resist joining in on the fun. I love my S'mores Ice Cream Pie and the infamous Reese's Fudge Pie, but today I want to talk another kind of pies: pizza pies! My sister and I recently had a conversation about our love for pizza and the fact that we would be happy eating it multiple times a week, so naturally my mind when straight to pizza when Foodie mentioned pie! Much as I love a classic sausage pizza (sausage > pepperoni in my book), I typically aim for the more creative topping combinations. Pizza is easily a meatless meal, and to prove it I put together a collection of 14 meatless pizza "pies", including some from around the web and some of my Sweets Life favorites, like this one featuring pea pesto and fresh herbs and grilled sweet potato and kale pizza!
