Odds & Ends

1. Need some motivation to make the (black bean) chili (sweet potato) fries I posted on Tuesday? I have an exclusive Alexia coupon you can print for $2.50 off any Alexia product...quick print (offer's only good until March 1st!) and get cooking!

2. My friend Katie, who has been mentioned many times on here before (most recently in our trip to New York last August), sent me the above picture last weekend and I can't think of a more perfect description of our friendship! It's easy for me to get caught up in who I'm not or what I don't have, but friends are one blessing I am always, always thankful for and cognizant of. I have friends as close as sisters and sister who are my best friends---and just wanted to shout out to all of them today! Love you all!!!

3. Do you think I like Chobani or what?! The above is a photo of our fridge last week. Big small, non-fat, 2%, flavored, plain...you'll find it ALL in our fridge! Chobani sent me a fun package of their two newest flavors--the banana & pear. I love them both, and the pear is now in a serious competition for my favorite Chobani flavor (a strong contender against the apple cinnamon). I love how fresh both flavors taste and that they created the two new ones based on customer feedback. Gotta love a company that listens to the people!

4. I'm going through a big podcast phase right now. I've been listening to the Joy the Baker podcast for months now, but lately I've also started listening to Ted Talks. I'm loving the Ted Talks because they expose me to ideas or topics that I would never think to research or be interested in. Because they're all 18 minutes or shorter, I find myself listening to talks I doubt I'll find interesting because I can commit ten or twelve minutes to them. It's often the ones I figure will be boring that engage me the most! What are your favorite podcasts? I'd love to add a few more to my listening repertoire!
